39 Weeks...waiting....

Well, the 39 week mark has come and gone and we are still waiting (patiently). This is a new experience for both of us - waiting for the arrival of our little boy. We have no way of knowing when he will decide to come and meet us, we are just getting more excited with each day that passes. We prepare for each day, as if it might be our last day as a family of 2, but have to go about our daily tasks.
We were able to enjoy a quite weekend together (who knows if it was our last). We took several walks, naps, and spent time with our puppies. We were unproductive and loved every minute of it.
We will keep you all posted on any new baby developments...

The Nursery

With this being our first born, a lot of time and thought has done into the preparation of his nursery. From furniture to bedding, we want everything to be just right! Here are a few pictures of all of our hard work...
James did an amazing job painting these art pieces - it looks just like the picture in the magazine!
We fell in love with this bedding - modern, boyish, fun!
Thanks to our friends, Daniel & Tiffany, for all their help finishing the painting project.
Oh, the perfect nursery, done at last!

37 Weeks

Are we crazy? Yes! The opportunity came up for us to take a trip with Kingdom Revelation Ministry to Marysville WA (just north of Seattle). We had the great privilege of leading a wonderful congregation into worship for five different sessions. We were also blessed with some much wanted/needed relaxation (before our bundle of joy arrives).

We embarked on our trip with car seat loaded and hospital bags packed, just in case. We didn't tell our doctor, and off we went on a long car ride and great trip.

We tried our best to ‘lay low’ to avoid any onset of labor.  We spent a lot of time resting, going on drives, and we went on a few little walks.

We had a great time up in Washington ministering and relaxing. Now it’s back at home waiting the arrival of our little boy

35 Weeks

At 35 weeks, we had our baby shower. We were blessed with amazing gifts, great fellowship with family & friends, and delicious food! Here are a few pictures we wanted to share of our special day. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated our soon coming little boy!!!
